Gestational Diabetes is elevated levels of sugar in the blood that occurs during pregnancy. Risk factors for Gestational Diabetes include: obesity, over the age of 35, recurrent infections and family history of diabetes. Unusual thirst, frequently going to the restroom, frequent bladder infections, fatigue and nausea are all symptoms of Diabetes. If you have Gestational Diabetes you will need to monitor your blood sugar levels. Excercise, eating the proper food and medications are used to manage Diabetes.
