Number of US cancer survivors projected to rise to 18 million by 2022

A report from the American Cancer Society has shown that people seem to be on the winning side of cancer. By 2022, they predict that 18 million people will have survived various forms of cancer. As treatments become more available and more effective, we are seeing an increase of survivors. The majority of cancer patients are above the age of 60.
